Robert S., verified customer reviewWell made high quality piece. Welds are smooth and free of voids. Coating is evenly applied- looks to be high quality. The coating provides good grip but if not uncomfortable. The bar has enough weight but is not onerously heavy to work with. The rotation of the bar is silky smooth and the swivel attachment is heavy duty and rotates smoothly. The only build I would have would be to use welded end caps instead of plastic. Not a criticism but it would be icing on a very nicely build piece. Using the bar is a pleasure. Really hits the biceps hard and the fat bar gives the grip a good workout. Highly recommended!

I'm able to hit multiple angles on biceps and triceps. I love the robust feel and the thick grip of this bar. Since I can’️t fully grip it, the loose grip places more concentration my biceps and triceps during exercises. My only complaint is that the brand sticker gets in the way. I removed it but I still have a little bit sticky residue which is annoying during use.

Started a home gym back in March and every loves the Hog Legs Bars. The old style small diameter bars are collecting dust since the introduction of the Hog Legs. "Sub Primal" is the fourth Hog Leg attachment added to the arsenal. We also have the Hog Legs "Ham Hock REVOLUTION", The Hog Legs "Ham Bone" and the Tricep Rope Extreme. JUST AWSOME. I received an email that my purchase was received but never received a message for tracking on my package, or that it had even shipped. Not knowing what was going on or it was ever going to ship, I almost stopped payment/filed a refund with my credit card company. Overall, I really like my products I ordered, the only recommendation I can make is having a follow-up email related to shipping. Also, I ordered the tribells 6" single and really like it. If I could recommend a 8" or 10" to resemble more to a medicine ball pushdown on an assisted dip machine like Lou Simmons does.
